FLOOD IN KHARKOO

The flood of 2010 in kharkoo valley was the first and disastrous flood in this area.
That was the first flood after the 200 years in history of Kharkoo Garbong.
In this flood Garbong has severely damaged and changed there shape.
According to latest counting there were160 houses damaged apart from and 60 residential houses totally destroyed due to flood. Appropriately one thousand people were affected.The lots of number of cows,goats and pets were lost.Flood hits fruit trees and non fruit trees in bigs figures.The villager of Kharkoo Garbong has lost his cultivated land in this flood.
After the flood the mostly people of  kharkoo were sad and distrubect due to uncertain and horrifically flood.People were also upset due ignorance of the Government and other NGOs relief and rehabilitation performance.
